In June 2014, Purebred Breeders donated a friendly Golden Retriever puppy named Denver to Made In Texas Assistance Dogs. Denver is in his early stages of training and currently living with his Puppy Raisers. He’s learning basic commands and potty training, but when he gets older he will grow up to be a mobility assistance service dog. Every month we receive a letter from Denver on his progress.

Hello Everyone!

February was an interesting month for me! I started with a fun week of playtime and training with my buddy, Oliver. We really get along well and help each other learn together.

It was a good thing that he wore me out that week, because after he left, I went to see my cool vet, Dr. Kunde! He and his awesome staff took really good care of me while I had an overnight visit there. They even gave me a special crown for being so well behaved, but it sure did make going through doors a little tricky.

 Woof,

Denver
